Wasington Township Cemetery Restoration Committee member Andrea Klinken,shown at right poses with the tombstone of Martha M.Johnston in washington Center Cemetery that was recently restored by Graveyard Groomers, an Indiana company.

Over the years, the tombstone(shown at left before restoration)had fallen and become buried. Micki Walters of Graveyard Groomers found it while the company was doing restoration work in the cemetery last month.

Adecorative piece from the top of the stone had fallen off and the company recreatedit as part of the restoration.The cemetery Restoration Committee recently received its first donation:$1000 from developer Ed Karam.
